The Fenn Treasure Poem: An Objective Analysis

"As I have gone alone in there"? Or is it, "As I have edge one alone in theory"? Or maybe it's, "As I have ego all one in three"? Or perhaps something else entirely?

Forrest Fenn's poem has captured the imagination of tens of thousands of treasure hunters world wide, but the one thing that is nearly impossible to find (besides the treasure) is good objective data on the poem itself. Everyone has an idea about what the poem means, but those ideas are subjective to the individual. When we analyze the poem, what can we, both skeptic and believer alike, agree is objectively there for all to see if only we'll just look?

Mr. Fenn has given us some help in the matter, fortunately, by emphasizing the importance of phonetics and the painstaking effort expended in the crafting of every word in the poem in its proper place. Using this information, over a period of time I've compiled a still-growing list of well over 400 words hidden within the poem. Inside, we'll take it line by line, syllable by syllable. and break it down for you.
