Q - So, what makes The Love Equation special?

A - It's a mix of things, really. When I set out to write the book, I wanted to create a roadmap for singles and people in a relationship -- engaged or not, ready to marry or not -- for them to find and keep their soul mate. My goal was to put together a no-nonsense guide full with real-life stories to help people find the love of someone truly special, of someone who will laugh, celebrate, and ... sometimes ... cry with them.

Then, my French roots come into action. Whereas love is a universal emotion, French people have some je ne sais quoi that makes them romantic in the eyes of other cultures -- at least, this is what I've experienced since living overseas. As a result, The Love Equation is tinted with my background. There are stories taking place in France, Germany, Austria; Paris, Cologne, Vienna ... and it doesn't stop in Europe, it continues up to the US.

One element dear to me was to write this book in English in the first place and not in French. Why? Because there's so much ideas lost in translation. The words and sentences might be properly translated into English, but the thinking, the cultural little nuances, the in-between the lines are often missed when the book is originally written in another language, and then translated. Being bi-cultural, French-American, enabled me to bridge both worlds in the most efficient way.

And overall, The Love Equation is designed to keep you turning the pages -- I've made sure there's never a dull moment.

Q - Should I read the book cover to cover?

A - The book has 10 chapters, divided in 3 parts. I've written the book so you can read the chapters in any order. Of course, you'll benefit more by reading from cover to cover since all the stories and structure of the book tie up nicely by the time you're finished. If you want to gain the most out of the book, I'd suggest the following sequence:
