The album s first single Love s Comin At Ya definitely helped Melba achieve that goal.
It s bright, funky, in-your-face delivery from Melba, background singer Lillo & producers Paul Lawrence Jones, Kashif & Morrie Brown caught fans as well as dancers by surprise, who in turn made the single a #5 R&B smash Melba s first ever Top 5 hit on that chart.
As a whole, The Other Side Of The Rainbow was a successful album, peaking at #18 on the R&B Album listings.
As far as the rest of the album is concerned, Melba kept it poppin on the dance floor thanks to Underlove (the second single), Knack For Me & How s Love Been Treating You .
This release is a fine example of a great voice being complimented with solid songs & production a fan favorite that has been re-mastered from the original masters.
