Hardened by the battles of the spring the tired and bloodied infantry are rallied once more to the attack. The hope that the upcoming battle will decide the fate of the war drives the beleaguered soldiers on. Seventeen year old Harry is one of the thousands poised to take his chances before the German guns. As part of his battalion's newly formed sniping section he will be in the thick of the action.
