German pastor and writer Friedrich W Krummacher (1796-1868) examines the period of Christ’s earthly ministry between the Resurrection and the inauguration of the New Testament Church at Pentecost. In painting the picture of each scene he seeks to understand the thinking of the apostles in order to find applications to the experience of all Christians.
