Recorded at the fabled Sun Studios in Memphis, Dale is backed by the crackerjack rhythm section of the Texas Two. Recorded on the same equipment the late Sam Phillips used to record early songs by Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich and Elvis Presley, the tracks have the uncanny sound of a time gone by.
