New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant returns to the Highlands in the third book in her sizzling Rogues of Scotland series complete with breathtaking romance and the enchantment of the paranormal
A MAN CONSUMED BY RAGE
Stefan Kennedy was cursed by a gypsy and sentenced to a prison of darkness and despair. A hell that only served to feed the monster within. Unexpectedly released from his mystical cell, he’s engulfed by fury and overcome by his need for vengeance until a beautiful and caring woman unexpectedly tames his inner beast. With just one touch, she makes his rage fade away. Stefan knows that he owes it to his friends to find out what happened to them after their run-in with the gypsy, but the mysterious and enchanting Morvan may be a temptation that he cannot resist.
A WOMAN’S MAGICAL TOUCH
Morvan has always been a child of the forest. She spends her days using her unique gifts to calm and heal the animals she encounters near her woodland cottage. But when she finds herself compelled across clan borders to a mysterious cliff with a wall of strange etchings, she’s helpless to resist. Somehow, Morvan magically brings forth a stranger seemingly more beast than man, yet despite the inherent dangers, she's driven to help the handsome Highlander. While his appearance in her life may end up shattering the peace she’s worked so hard to find, he could also prove to be the man of her dreams.
This all-new, never-before-published novella is approximately 20-25,000 words.

I’ve read each of the books in the series, and love the continuing thread: four young highlanders were cursed by a gypsy after a love affair gone wrong. Stefan was, for me, the most difficult character to empathize with: although he was cursed while being in the wrong place at the wrong time, his own personal demons kept him dancing on the edge of near animalistic uncontrolled rage.
Cursed to two hundred years of darkness, he suddenly finds himself freed of the prison of nothingness, but his determination to avenge his friends is overwhelming any control that he may have over his rage. Until Morvan.
A child of the woods, clanless and alone, Morvan lives in an isolated cabin that is close to the edge of the clan’s lands. Mostly left to her own devices, Morvan is a gifted healer, using her calming nature and skills on wounded and maimed animals, and any humans who come for aid.
Morvan’s calm and protective nature works wonders on...
Book 3 in the Rogues of Scotland series starts the same as its predecessors, 1427 Scotland with Ronan, Morcant, Daman, and Stefan headed into the gypsy camp for some carnal pleasures. Only this time, we get the entire account of happenings from Stefan’s point of view! After seeing the gypsy woman curing Ronan and then Morcant, Stefan felt his anger that he had worked so hard to keep in check, snap. Jumping to the aid of his friends, only to find himself stricken with the same fated curse as his friends. Darkness, solitude, and time. We fast forward to 1609 and are introduced to an amazing woman named Morvan. An orphan that’s lived in the woods her entire life, and at that, has been alone since she was eight years old. She has… a power..? Well, let’s just say she has a way with the animals. She helps them when stuck or injured and can calm them with just a simple touch. When fate places her path directly across Stefan’s, his anger, palpable...
What an amazing story! Donna Grant has made the third installment of the rogues of Scotland better then the first two, if that was even possible, but she has, ""The Tempted" is Stefan and Morvan tale, along with the others, Ronan, Morcant and Daman, Stefan was also cursed by the gypsies until he controls his rage, trapped in a dark void where his raged burned for ravaged, until one lovely lass named Morvan whom lives in the forest calms the beast inside. I won't spoil anymore, this story is just to good not find out more on your own, I will say that I love how Donna Grant takes us back to the beginning in each installment of the series and shows us in each of the highlanders eyes of the event that causes them to be cursed for more then 200 years of darkness and solitude.
This story flows beautifully and makes for a quick Delicious read..
