AMERICA, 1786. Ten years have past since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. But America's hopes for a united country are dangerously threatened. England wages a new war of unfair trade and tariffs. Fragmented states continually bicker over currencies, trade, taxations. America is a powder keg ready to explode.
But a handful of brilliant courageous men, James Madison, George Washington, and Benjamin Franklin, and others lead a three year diplomatic battle that culminates in Philadelphia. There they created a new form of government...one that has since become the standard of freedom and democracy for the rest of the world.

Every American should own one of these. I picked one up for myself, wife, and son. It's full of great information, from the declaration of independence through the drafts of the constitution as well as bill of rights and the reasoning behind why we needed a bill of rights in the first place. To top it off there are questions with answers and notable quotes from our founding fathers. I absolutely love this it is definitely pocket size and worth the little cost. They want to stop teaching civics in school so all the more reason to add a few of these to your arsenal for freedom.
It is handy and concise .Easier to put in my purse than the coffee table edition in my living room .
