Very shortly after the invention of photography in the nineteenth century, the first womanâ€™s nudes become visible. In a first stage, this mount will be used by artists for anatomical studies in order to lead for instance the copy on canvas. But in a second stage several womanâ€™s nudes will be produced with a pure erotic object. This will become soon a real industry against which the censure and the moralists will have difficulty in fighting.
Real secret networks will become established in order to mass broadcast these photographs in the form of postal cards and even in the form of stereoscopic images (relief image).

This book proposes you to immerse yourself once more in the heart of this era itself thanks to a choice of daring photographs of the end of the nineteenth century and of the beginning of the twentieth century. You will discover a new aspect of the history of the sensuality and of the erotism, out of the frigid images of the illustrated magazines that will be found in profusion in the second half of the last century.

You will find in this book nearly a hundred of these photographs only for adults.
