Theft At George Eastman House: A New York State Adventure

Mrs. Levine's fifth grade students are learning about photography and George Eastman, the founder of Eastman Kodak Co. They progress from one misadventure to another as they experience the different stages of photography from sun prints to film. When they take a field trip to the George Eastman House Museum and Mr. Eastman's former home, things turn serious when Steven, a teenage chaperone, is accused of stealing an irreplaceable candlestick and Mrs. Levine leads the students in finding the real thief by teaching them the steps involved in solving a mystery.
