This book is written for researchers interested in the measurement of creativity in education and the workplace. This does not mean, however, that the book is not of use to practitioners. Researchers will appreciate the detailed explanations and analysis of the development process for various creativity measurement tools. What practitioners will find useful is each chapter’s review of the research literature and the assessment instruments included in the book. The short volume is compiled by Brazilian academics with extensive experience in creativity research. As a creativity researcher, this little book by three Brazilian women has really excited me. I have not seen anything like it on the American market. Because the world of creativity research considered in the USA too often begins and ends with New York and California, Prufrock Press is commended for publishing this work. There is an excellent review on studies of creativity, its measurement in various forms, and issues related to assessment, clearly written, concise, and authoritative.
