Designed for use in commercial kitchens and professional settings, the Pro-Series Probes deliver better accuracy, faster readings, unique designs, wider temperature ranges and better moisture-resistance than the probes sold with low-cost "houseware-grade" temperature alarms. The Pro-Series High Temp Cooking Probe is an affordable replacement for the probe that comes with the ThermoWorks ChefAlarm. High temperature molded mini handle protects the junction of the probe tube and the stainless steel, high-temp cable to keep moisture from affecting the sensor, extending the life of the probe in the high steam environment of an oven. The probe cable itself withstands short-term temperatures to 700 F, better protecting the probe from oven and grill temps. Pro-Series Probes are specificially designed and engineered to work with ThermoWorks ChefAlarm and ThermoWorks DOT. Will not work in other makes or models.
