Thank you. Do we hear that so much that our ears become immune to the sentiments? Or is it that we donâ€™t hear it often enough? And forget about hearing it; how about saying it? Is there power in those words both for us and for those to whom we speak our thanks? As the words are formed in our hearts and then leave our lips, have we any notion of what transformative potential lies in feeling grateful? From an attitude of thankfulness, we come to recognize an endless stream of cause for feeling thanks: We see it! We crave the opportunity to share our gratefulness: We say it! And then, what inspired words of gratitude gives rise to thanks-inspired action because we find mere words are insufficient. We want to give not just a thankful nod, but live a life of thankfullness: We live it! We laugh more deeply; we love less cautiously; we share more freely; we dream more intentionally; we believe more fully in the goodness of each day. All of this is generated by thanks.
