A mesmerising duets disc between Italy's greatest living jazz player (trumpeter Rava) and hottest young firebrand (piano phenom Bollani), both of whom have sizable ECM followings. Inspired by jazz history, South American music, the Italian song tradition and contemporary composition, but more importantly, simply beautiful music-making. We expect this to get glowing reviews even by ECM standards.
