An all-star symphonic performance of The Who's famed rock opera ''Tommy - As Performed By The London Symphony Orchestra,'' featuring Guest Soloists: Pete Townshend; Roger Daltrey; John Entwhistle; Ringo Starr; Rod Stewart; Steve Winwood; Merry Clayton; Richie Havens; Richard Harris. The London Symphony's ''Tommy'' sold over a million copies upon its initial release in 1972. The CD version is re-mastered and includes a 20 page illustrated libretto/booklet. The Who are celebrating their 50-year legacy this year, and ''The Who Hits 50! Tour'' begins its Fall leg on September 14th 2015 in San Diego, CA with 24 dates throughout the U.S. and Canada, concluding November 4th in Philadelphia, PA. More dates will follow through December.
