- FOR NEWBORNS: Newborn babies heads are soft, making it easy for them to develop flat head syndrome. This beanie is designed to gently deflect your babies head to different positions to prevent flat head. The single layer construction is highly breathable, which helps prevent overheating. The beanie is our smallest — designed for infants with a 13” – 15” head circumference (birth to 2 months).
- HOW TO USE: Slip the beanie onto your baby’s head with the roll between the back of the head and the ear on one side, fasten the hook-and-loop opening on the front. Next, adjust the side elastic straps by pulling them backwards and securing them in place. so the cap is snug and will stay in place. Alternate the side the roll is positioned each time you place baby down on a firm surface.
- REPOSITIONING TECHNIQUES: There are a variety of repositioning techniques you can use along with this beanie to maintain a good head shape. For quicker results, consider alternating where you place your babies head each night. You can also move their crib to different parts of the room.
