I have just finished building my first ever boat using the tape and glue method. The Total Boat epoxy kit made the tape part so easy. no measuring required! I bought the slow cure thinking I would need a longer work time as I had never done this before, now I would buy the fast cure as it was really simple and easy. I have posted a video of the boat project on my YT channel and you can see it here if you are interested....[...]
I have used West System exclusively for 25+ years. When I saw this with a better price point I decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Cannot tell the difference. They also include the pumps with each order. West sells the pumps separately (for big $) and if it sometimes takes you awhile to go through your epoxy, the pumps like to gum up. Thus I was always having to buy new pumps as well. No more! You still have to buy the additives (404 etc) from West System, but they work fine mixed with this stuff.
I first saw this product through a video, and thought that it was pretty easy to use. I have a RV that has some delamination, so I decided to try out this product. I followed the direction, pump once for the hardener, and pump once for the resin (simple), mix for about a minute. I applied the product on the delamination area, and clamped it for about 10 hours. Then I removed the clamps, and no more delamination, and it has been over a week since. I will definitely buy more of this product for other projects.
