- TWO-PART, MARINE GRADE EXPANDING FOAM cures very hard and rigid, with high compressive strength ideal for a number of marine and residential applications, including structural reinforcement, architectural castings, art projects and flotation
- 6 POUNDS PER CUBIC FOOT HIGH-DENSITY FORMULA is perfect for casting, carving, sculpture, plug making, sign making, flotation for boats and buoys, floating decoys, part fabrication, replicating wooden parts, rigidifying, structural support and more
- FAST-SETTING, CURES TO A 94% CLOSED CELL FOAM, where each cell traps air and prevents liquids such as water, gas, and oil from penetrating; once fully cured, foam is compatible with epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester resins, and can be painted

TotalBoat 6 lb. liquid urethane foam kit has a high density which makes it ideally suited for more architectural structures such as plugs, buoys, and even detailed sculptures that may be more complex in shaping. It is also perfect for structural void building applications and support for heavy loads because of it high compression strength. With a 1:1 ratio it is extremely important to pour the two parts equally by volume. Mixing is easy because of it low viscosity, but to get the maximum potential expansion of foam, make sure you are working in an environment with a 75-80 degree F temperature. If the room is below 75 degrees you may need to use additional mix. After mixing the polyurethane resin and activator it will rise to approximately 10 times its original size.
The closed cell system keeps a tight seal throughout the flotation foam. This mean that it is not affected by gasoline or oil and is completely compatible with polyester, epoxy resins, urethane pigments and latex based paints. If you are looking to form a strong floating foam, this two part 6 lb. liquid foam kit is what you need.
