Towpaths: A Collection of Articles from the Canal Society of Ohio

The Canal Society of Ohio, Inc. was founded in 1961 "for the purpose of collecting and preserving information relating to the history of the Ohio Canals." In addition sponsoring to two tours per year, the society publishes a scholarly journal called Towpaths. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of our organization, the CSO presents this collection of articles. Selected by the membership of the society, this Towpaths compilation represents a half century of research and effort by some of Ohio's most dedicated canawlers.
