A 6â€³x6â€³ anodized aluminum blank slate! The downrigger adapter plate mounts directly to our downrigger bracket with the included stainless steel connection hardware. Mount anything ranging from oversized downrigger bases and swivel bases, to cutting boards, to night fishing lighting systems for your boats. At 3/8" thick, you can safely and securely tap and thread directly into the plate (or simply use self tapping bolts) and fasten down your accessories with flat and lock washers. TrackStar gunnel track brackets are compatible with all 1/4â€³ gunnel tracks from all boat manufacturers i.e. Tracker Boat's Versatrack, Lund Boat's Sport Trak, Crestliner Boat's Lock Track, Polar Kraft, Lowe, Triton, War Eagle, G3, etc., if your boat has a standard 1/4â€³ receiver track, TrackStar will get the job done! Drilling through and using a nut on the bottom side of the plate is NOT necessary. You may either tap and thread directly into the base or simply use self tapping hardware to mount your base onto the plate. This will essentially turn the adapter plate into one giant nut and removes any issues of drilling through and encountering interference issues with the bracket below it when attempting to use a nut on the bottom side of the plate.
