From the supplier: Georges Perec's work is full of transformations of words, ideas or lines of text. However, Perec's writing also contains a system of constraints that limit and govern the transformations. A good example of constrained transformations is found in '81 Easy-Cook Recipes for Beginners' because each recipe is made up of four lines, the first three with fixed structures and the fourth allowed to transform the elements that are consistent in all other lines.
