The DCB M41 wide body catamaran, designed by DCB (dave’s custom boats) Founder Dave hemmingson, is the largest 57046-4 Red offered in the DCB M-series. With its precision sculpted design and a pair of Mercury racing 1350 engines, it speeds across the water at 175mph! Traxxas has faithfully captured the incredible looks and performance of the DCB M41 in a detailed scale replica that is versatile, fun, and fast. The catamaran wider stance allows for Razor sharp handling, but also easy control while cruising. The M41 has less hydrodynamic resistance, making it incredibly fast. The M41 gets on plane almost immediately to the tune of 50+ mph on 6S lipo power. M41 features a rigid internal structure with removable electronics tray. The waterproof vxl-6s marine ESC is built for true 6S lipo power and includes water cooling. Integrated low-voltage protection helps maintain your lipo batteries and our patented training mode limits power for beginners. The powerful water-cooled ve line on 540XL brushless motor is attached independently to increase the rigidity of the hull. The electronics tray with waterproof receiver box can be removed in only minutes for maintenance. The integrated reinforced transom provides a solid mounting surface to deliver the ruggedness and reliability needed for all-day fun. The m41’s efficient and reliable flex cable drive system disengages easily and features a clamping collet that holds the flex cable tightly and centers it perfectly for the smoothest operation possible. The rudder, rudder support, and drive strut are extruded and machined from rugged 6000-series aluminum alloy for maximum strength. The TQi 2.4GHz transmitter can be equipped with a Bluetooth module that turns your Android, iPad iPhone or iPod touch (sold separately) into a powerful tuning tool for your Traxxas model.
