Legend has it that Tre Marie's origins began in 1150 as a school funded by surviving Crusaders. Initially named after the Virgin Mary the school was renamed to "School of Four Marys" in honor of the Virgin Mary and three religious women who followed her. During the 14th Century, the school moved to the heart of Milano and the image of the Virgin Mary was separated from the three "smaller Mary's" and became what we know today - Tre Marie. Tre Marie combines traditional Milanese confections with quality ingredients and a passion for innovation.
