The Big Foot model double pedal has all of the same features as the original Pro 1vV Detonator, though it comes with a long board footboard.
Instead of the traditional footboard heel block design, the Big Foot uses a one-piece footboard that pivots at the far end of the board.
The Trick Pro 1-V Detonator double pedal is in fact 2 fully functioning single pedals joined together as a double. The innovative design does away with the notorious sloppy action of standard slave pedals. By using two independent single pedals linked together with the advanced universal joint system, todays drummer can cover all the bases, in every possible playing scenario. The Trick Pro 1-V Detonator is an engineering marvel. It features innovative design elements, aerospace materials - titanium, billet aluminum, stainless and hardened steel - and is machined on the latest state of the art CNC equipment. These technical innovations result in one thing A pedal that plays like no other. The Big Foot model double pedal has all of the same features as the original Pro 1vV Detonator, though it comes with a long board footboard. Instead of the traditional footboard heel block design, the Big Foot uses a one-piece footboard that pivots at the far end of the board. Compression Spring TechnologyThe Pro 1-V Detonator utilizes an internally housed compression spring. Compression springs have the ability to cycle faster and utilize energy more efficiently. The benefit is a pedal that will react as fast as your foot. The compression spring works with the profiled cam follower to reduce the amount of spring tension build-up as the beater approaches the drum head this gives you a more fluid stroke from beginning to end. Spring tension is adjustable while youre playing - simply turn the spring dial that is conveniently located within easy reach at the top of the main housing. Imagine no longer having to remove your pedal from the hoop to change tension settings. Independent Split-Cam SystemBecause of the split-cam systems design, you can now change the attitude and attack of the pedal in seconds. Tricks fully independent split cam system allows the player to infinitely and independently adjust the beater from the drive cam angle with a 360-degree range of smooth yet solid setting

These pedals are THE best pedals EVER - by FAR! Adjustable is every conceivable way - they are smooth, fast, and absolutely GORGEOUS! The ONLY thing i would change is the case. While free, and not bad as "soft" cases go, for the kind of money shelled out for these pedals, a hard case (a la Tama) seems in order. Beyond that one MINOR complaint, these pedals are as good as it gets.
Simply the best pedal ever made, and it's not close. The feel takes some getting used to if you're coming from chain pedals, but once you get used to it and dial in your settings you'll wonder how you ever got by with a different pedal. The only downside to the extremely tight feel is that if you have poor technique, this pedal will make your poor technique significantly more noticeable. The spring system is amazing. Because of it's design, the spring actually pushes the pedal forward when rebound from the drum head causes the beater to fly past it's original resting position. This results in being able to play both faster and harder and with much, much less effort than on other pedals.
The pedal can be infinitely adjusted with only your hand and a drum key (except when switching the pedal between double and single). The spring tension is adjustable simply by turning a large hand knob, which means you can dial it in with little effort and without having to get down on the...
There's a reason why these pedals are considered the best in the world! I decided to upgrade my old pdp's to a better pedal. The goal that I had set in mind was to find the very best, most durable pedal on the market and to never have to buy another one ever again. My choices eventually dwindled down to the axis al2, the dw9000 (or possibly the new machine one), the Tama speed cobra and these.
I first marked the Tama's off the list because they are very good, but i did not like the heaviness of the pedal. They seemed to be too similar to the iron cobras, just a longer footboard, very similar to the predecessor. The spring underneath the pedal sounded a little cheap and seemed like the part that would be the first to fail. Of course these were the cheapest pedals, but i was looking for the very best, not the least expensive.
After the Tama's I almost immediately took the DW's off the list for one solid reason. They are DW's! The name itself implies that a solid...
