The Anti-Flicker (PWM) Adaptor eliminates headlight flicker in 2007-2013 Jeep JK models. A limited number of Jeep JK users may see a flicker as a result of the PWM electrical system used on these vehicle models. A: The PWM electrical system turns the lamps energy on and off extremely fast. Incandescent bulbs are too slow to respond, so flickering isn't seen. This system is used to reduce the power to an incandescent bulb, extending bulb life. Q: Why do LEDs flicker when used with PWM systems? A: LED headlamps respond very fast and follow vehicle commands closely, so in some cases the flicker can be seen. Most lamps are not affected by the flicker caused from PWM.
