Helps your engine start easier, run cleaner, faster, and longer
Super-suspension of micro-miniature PTFE particles and soluble Molybdenum, permanently suspended in oil
Moving parts become coated with PTFE particles which reduce friction and wear
Safe for all gas and diesel engines
Tufoil Engine Lubricant is Guinness Book of World Records certified as "The World's Most Efficient Lubricant." Slipperier to make engines start easier, run cleaner, faster, and longer. Tufoil engine lubricant has been tested by the US Government at the National Bureau of Standards. Their results prove that the surface friction of Tufoil (.029), makes it the most slippery substance known to man! Tufoil is a super-suspension of micro-miniature PTFE particles and soluble Molybdenum, permanently suspended in oil. All moving parts become coated with PTFE particles which reduce friction and wear and will not clog filters or oil openings. Safe for all gas and diesel engines. We recommend you change your oil and filter every 3,000 miles. However, many of our customers find that their oil is still clean at this point because of Tufoil's ability to cut friction and wear. They will then make the decision to extend oil changes accordingly.

I've used this product since it first came out in 1974. It used to be packaged in white plastic bottles. You could see the Teflon separated from the solution that sank to the bottom, making up about a third of the container. This is the fourth vehicle I have treated with tufoil. Each had standard transmissions and high mileage. The 1st one in 1974, I only treated the engine which had conventional crude oil and got an increase of about 4.5 mpg. The 2nd in 1993, I switched to Amsoil full synthetic in the engine, trans and rear end which were all 3 treated with tufoil as well. That yielded about 7.5 mpg. The 3rd like the 2nd was Amsoil with Tufoil front to rear. The yield was about 7mpg. The 4th, Amsoil & Tufoil front to rear. The yield, .2 mpg. That's 2 tenths per gal. I thought, there's something wrong here. So, I double and triple checked it. I was correct, .2 to .3 mpg increase. As I suspected, they decreased the amount of Teflon so drastically that...
This stuff is amazing. I used it in my 2013 chevy truck. I only have 45k miles on it but I read some articles that told of the marvels of this product in older cars. I figured if it could help keep engines in cars with over 200k miles running strong then it would help to start early and use it on every oil change.
Now to be clear, I used Royal Purple oil and a Mobile 1 filter with the TufOil. Before I was using standard synthetic oil with a basic filter.
What I noticed right away was a much smoother running engine. My truck would have a low RPM shudder that was, per Chevy, normal. The engine shuts off 4 of the 8 cylinders when in idle and as a result, the engine shudders but now, no more low RPM shudders!!! This is amazing as the shudder is normal. I think that with the reduction of friction the motor is able to spin the motor with more ease and thus, no more shudder.
I also noticed a great improvements to pick up and acceleration.
This is an outstanding product but trying to talk to the owner (a Maine Maniac), is a difficult process so I buy it off Amazon.com. If you are not aware, the label : Maine Maniac, has been given to Manas for nearly a century. Who knows where it came from, maybe from the civil war when Joshua Chambers made a maniacal charge against Reb lines and they got up and ran. Amazing but true at least by history. My great grandaddy went into the Maine Volunteers at age 15 and got out at age 18 at the end of the war. Maybe that's why he moved out West to get away from the Maine Maniac label. (-: People from Maine call themselves Manas just in case you were wondering. I believe if you put this Tufoil in your car after it is broke in, that it will or at least the engine will get double the normal mileage before needing work. It is a modified teflon that reduces the size of the teflon particles by a good deal so it gives a much better coverage. Mechanics will hate it...
