The "Heart of Tuscany" is a set of four double-sided hiking / cycling maps at 1:50,000 (1 inch = 0.79 mile) covering in all an area from Pistoia north of Florence, across Chianti and the hills of Siena, to Monte Amiata, and in the coastal region from Pisa to Piombino. Coverage includes Lucca, Livorno and the Etruscan Riviera, San Gimignano, San Miniato, Volterra, Poggibonsi, Monticiano, Montalcino, etc.

Contours are at 40 m intervals, with a 2-km UTM grid. In addition to the region's numerous hiking trails, including several long-distance routes, extensive overprint includes cycling and selected mountain bike routes, plus a selection of horse riding trails. Symbols indicate various types of accommodation such as selected inns and hotels, campsites, mountain huts and refuges, numerous recreational facilities, places of interest, etc.

Size: each map has a size of 110 x 75 cm / 43.5" x 29.5". Map legend includes English, Italian, German and French.
