Brilliant songwriter, world-class harmonica player and streetwise vocalist Rick Estrin was the very popular front man with the internationally renowned Little Charlie & The Nightcats for over 30 years. They played thousands of club, theatre and festival gigs across the U.S. and around the world. Plus, Rick wrote the vast majority of the songs (including the Blues Music Award-winner "My Next Ex-Wife") on their nine critically acclaimed albums. Little Charlie & The Nightcats have over 115,000 career scans, with their first three releases pre-dating SoundScan. With the retirement of Little Charlie Baty, Estrin has recruited guitar whiz Kid Andersen and kept on creating and playing the smartest, hippest blues and roots music around.
