“New York City's Five Points: The Most Dangerous and Decadent Neighborhood Ever!” by Joe Bruno is another one of his books that I just loved. I couldn’t walk away from this compelling read if I tried. Bruno has a way of telling a story that makes it come alive right in front of your eyes. He brings along his knowledge and great humor that makes this an exhilarating turbulent heart thumping ride.

I would highly recommend this book and all others by this author. He adds a real life force to his well-researched, true-crime stories. Nothing better than the real deal and this is what you get.

As usual this was a great book. Joe has a way of putting you back in the time the book is portraying. I am a big fan of the era and love reading about all the areas that I have actually been too. I can picture in my mind how they looked back then. I look forward always to another book by Joe Bruno.
