According to our engineer test using a Google Nexus 5X, this cradle correctly identifies itself using the 56kΩ pullup resistor on CC. The Omni Case Dock for USB Type-C is a cradle charger with adjustable USB-C connector and suitable for use with thicker, more rugged, outdoor covers. It's super sleek, minimal design, has an elegant gloss exterior and works with almost Type-C device. The 2.4 Amp charger is enough output to power up any smartphone and tablet, the same as speed as most USB wall socket chargers. Connect the dock to your laptop or desktop computer via a USB port to enable file syncing for all your music, videos and photos. You can even tilt the USB-C connector for easy docking and undocking so you don't damage the port on your device.
A note about case compatibility...
The dock is designed to be compatible with most cases meaning there's no need to remove your case every time you dock.
But... there may be certain cases that are not going to fit so if you're unsure about case compatibility, please feel free to contact us for clarification.
