• Replaces OMC 987661 (older part numbers 986654, 987498).
• This cable fits all standard carbureted Cobra drives (Not King Cobra) from 1988 through 1993. It will also fit the earlier models 1986 and 1987 if the cable and shift arm has been updated to the red cable. It will not replace the original black cable on 1986 and 1987 models unless you update the shift arm.
• Does not fit King Cobra!
