The handle is wrapped in orange paracord for a secure grip, and it can be unwound (over 6 feet) for emergencies. The blade has a black oxide coating for rust resistance. It comes with a durable nylon sheath for safe travel and storage. Weighing 4.7 ounces (133 grams), the ParaKnife FS 4.0 measures 8.75 x 1.25 x 0.75 inches (222 x 38 x 19 mm).
