94% of content of our Akoya nacre powder is minerals such as calcium in the form of calcium carbonate crystals (CaCO3) plus magnesium and iron.

5% of the rest is Conchiolin, a complex protein of 17 amino acids which bond the calcium carbonate crystals together. About 1% is pure water.
