Brian Burke - 16 years old, quiet, studious, and Catholic - is forced by his friends to go to an Evangelical Christian Bible Camp for the summer. Why? Because a girl from his school, Allie Weaver, who he BARELY KNOWS, has left the Catholic Church - and Brian has to try and get her to come back. Somehow. Even though he has nothing in common with the beautiful, passionate Allie.

It seems like a lost cause. Allie seems to be getting on just fine: helping her new Christian friends love God, and dating the camp's hot worship leader.
