Meter Star Universal Propane Thermocouple Flame Failure Sensor,M8x1 Thread, Length 24" for BBQ Grill, Fire Pit & Fireplace Heate
- Key specs & compatibility: Total length 24"; head thread M8 x 1; end nut M8 x 1 — fits valves with M8x1 threads; ideal for propane/natural gas grills, fire pits, fireplaces, patio heaters, stoves and catering cookers.
- Performance: Produces >20 mV and reaches operating temperature in under 10 seconds to hold the gas valve open.
- Installation & use tip: Thermocouple tip must remain immersed in the flame during operation — if the valve shuts off, reposition the tip so it is fully heated and retest.
- Manufacturing note: The flattened copper tube at the tip is intentional (a mechanical stop to prevent the nut from loosening during installation) — this is not a defect.
- Thermocouple Temperature: -200 - 850 Degree Celsius,Used for gas fireplace, fire pit, grill, Stove, catering cooker, patio heaters etc
