Unum Material and Quality
Cast acrylic is the most upscale plastic material available for creating upscale products. Although hand-crafting the product is more time consuming and therefore costs a little more, the difference in quality is astounding. Common problems like relief marks or haze from molds are non-existent. Unlike the injection molding process, all joints are bonded by hand using agents that actually "melt" the material together. The result is an extremely strong crystal clear construction, which is why our hand-crafted acrylic products are so popular.

We devote great care to ensuring a high standard of quality in our handmade collections, starting with our search for the best fabricators. Most of the details of Unum acrylic products require manual workmanship, with each piece of acrylic being cut, glued and polished by hand. Fabrication may therefore result in small differences typical of handmade products.

Despite our best efforts, if we have overlooked an imperfection, we would like to know, so we can promptly correct defects that might have slipped past us.
