The Victorinox Swiss Army Adaptive Sports Tinker Pocket Knife is a special edition Tinker that is one of the two winners of the 2018 WWP Design Challenge. For the second year, in 2018 Victorinox asked warriors to submit knife designs representing the themes of duty, honor, courage, commitment, integrity, country and service.

Fans from across the nation voted, and the two winning designs are now in production. The creators of the two winning designs visited the North American headquarters of Victorinox to see their designs come to life.

The Adaptive Sports Tinker tells the story of warrior Donna Pratt, which was translated into a knife design by artist Jamie Peterson. This colorful knife features their design as well as the Wounded Warrior Project's logo.

Donna joined the Army during the Gulf Warand after an 8-year break, rejoined after 9/11. During her time in Iraq, she was injured multiple times, and required multiple surgeries on her feet and ankles. After 2 years in a wheelchair, Donna was feeling hopeless when a friend invited her to a wheelchair basketball camp. This time at camp made Donna feel reborn, and sparked her passion for adaptive sports.

Donna, while still in pain, says, "I don't adapt to life. I make life adapt to me." She is not letting her injuries stop her, and is now a certified archery instructor who not only teaches archery, but also shares her experiences to help other injured warriors.
