Viskon-Aire's SG-15 paint arrestor (15 gram fiberglass) provides superior overspray holding capacity and efficiency across a wide range of paint materials, but is most effective when used with "thicker" spray products such as gel coats due to its open weave construction. The SG-15 is composed of a layer of spun fiberglass (green in color / air entry side) with a thin glass fiberglass backing (white in color / air exiting side) for use in cross draft and down draft spray booth exhaust systems. The progressive density design ensure proper "depth loading" by allowing the air entry layer to captures larger overspray particles while the fine air exiting layer captures smaller overspray particles. Proper depth loading extends the operating life of a filter, resulting in fewer change-outs, lowering annual operating costs.

The SG-15 has been tested to ensure compliance with EPA regulation 40 CFR Part 63 (HHHHHH). Test reports available under "Compliance Documents" below or at Viskon-Aire's website ( The SG-15 can also be used in a waterborne paint environment. Pads and rolls are compressed and vacuum-packed prior to shipping to save freight costs and storage space; upon opening for installation, the SG-15 fiberglass media will return to its normal size.
