WAFFLE Extended Care Plus Mattress Overlay contours to the body so the patient is literally "floating". With the patient "floating" there is improved comfort and redistribution of pressure, thereby decreasing the risk of pressure ulcers (bedsores). The mattress also boasts holes through and through that reduce heat and has a cooling effect as well as wicking any unfortunate moisture from collecting under the body. Handwells along the sides of the mattress enables caretakers to help reposition and aid their loved ones. Cleans easily with soap and water.
