WAKING HOURS reached #6 in the UK Albums Chart, proving to be the bands breakthrough album and featured one of the band's most famous songs, "Nothing Ever Happens", which reached #11 in the UK Singles Chart. Formed in Scotland in 1983 by singer and main songwriter Justin Currie and Iain Harvie. Del Amitri has become one their country's finest bands with a string of hit albums and singles.
