Walker Products 235-1050 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor

The engine camshaft positioning sensor determines the camshaft position. It then sends this information to the onboard computer. The computer uses this and other inputs to calculate injector on time and ignition timing. Symptoms of failure include a check engine light, hard starting and/or poor vehicle drivability. There is no scheduled service for a camshaft positioning sensor therefore, the part must be replaced when failure occurs.
