Description
- Infrared Effect (850nm): The infrared filter blocks nearly all visible light below 850nm while passing infrared light. Allows minimal to no false color, producing deep black-and-white images with extreme contrast. Ideal for dramatic monochrome landscapes, fine art, and high-impact infrared photography.
- Optical Glass & Durable Build: This Walking Way filter is made from high-quality optical glass with scratch-resistant surface. The filter frame is crafted from lightweight yet sturdy aviation-grade aluminum. Slim profile prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses.
- How to Use for Best Results: Set custom white balance on your camera (shoot green grass or gray card under sunlight). Use manual mode with longer exposure times (tripod recommended). For pure black-and-white results, shoot in RAW and convert to monochrome in post – no false color to remove.
- Compatibility & Double-Threaded Design: This 850nm infrared filter fits lenses with standard thread size. Please verify your lens diameter marked with “Ø” symbol before ordering. Double-threaded frame allows stacking additional filters or attaching a lens cap.
