The Lismore pattern, first created in 1950 by Mirek Havel, has won-over three generations of collectors. The old fashioneds is the 9-ounce size that many favor for serving whiskies on ice or "sipping spirits" such as fine single malts. The distinct shape of the glass has lead it to be nicknamed the "roly poly", but ths versatile new staple for the well-appointed home barseems much too glamourous to be at home with that name.
