LVOC Carbon Block Filter. The LVOC filter is a heavy duty lead and chemical reducing carbon block filter. This specially formulated block is capable of reducing lead as well as harmful Volatile Organic Chemicals (See performance data sheet for complete list of VOCs). It is estimated that VOCs are present in one-fifth of the nation's water supplies. These water contaminants can enter ground water from a variety of sources including localized use of herbicides and pesticides, gasoline or oil spill, septic system cleaners, and chemicals used in the dry-cleaning industry. Applications: Filter-Pure (UF3) RO-PURE (RO4)**Note: When using in the RO-Pure Reverse Osmosis System, the LVOC filter must be used in place of the Post Carbon Filter.** Features: Filters down to .5 micron.
