- The upgraded Brataste weather station features a 7.5-inch high-definition VA display, which provides clearer viewing and higher contrast, and is more energy efficient than LCD displays. The display can also be adjusted to 5 different brightness levels according to personal preference, allowing to get the temperature, humidity, date, weather forecast and other useful data with a quick glance at the display.
- The watch supports 7 different North American time zones (AST, EST, CST, MST, PST, AKT, and HAT). Once selected, the digital clock automatically connects to WWVB, ensuring the displayed time is of the highest accuracy available. The time is also updated automatically during DST changes in each time zone. You can also set it manually if the WWVB signal around your house is weak.
- In addition to basic temperature and humidity information, the wireless weather station allows you to plan your day with a more comprehensive weather forecast in your area. Calculate a weather forecast for locations within 8 to 12 miles of your home, using the trend in barometric pressure. However, it requires 7-10 days for barometric calibration to ensure an accurate forecast specific to your location.
- Digital weather station includes an outdoor sensor that monitors outdoor temperature and humidity. If desired, up to two additional sensors can be added to the weather station to monitor three locations simultaneously. - The device will not constantly stay lit to save energy. Touch the top button the screen will light up and turn off automatically after 15 seconds. When powered by the adapter, the device will remain constantly illuminated except during the RCC signal search period. It is recommended to use a power adapter for the power supply while inserting batteries as a backup to maintain settings in case of accidental power loss.
- When plugged in, the device will search for WWVB signal automatically and the screen will darken for about 7 minutes. (The device will search for WWVB signal automatically every 1:00/2:00/3:00 AM)
