Well Water Level Gauge, Fixed Probe with Steel Tape, Accurate Liquid Level Measurement Tool for Industrial Use, 20 Meters
Usage Instructions: To measure water levels, allow the reel to rotate freely. Press the power button and lower the probe into the water level pipe. Gradually lower the probe by holding the steel rule cable until the contact point reaches the water surface. Once it does, the sounder will emit a continuous beep, indicating that the depth of the steel rule cable at the pipe opening corresponds to the distance between the groundwater level and the pipe opening.
Measurement Specifications and Accuracy: The device measures in centimeters, with a minimum reading capability of 1 mm and a repeatability error of ≤ 2 mm. The probe can measure depths of up to 30 m (98.4 ft) or 100 m (328 ft) for well level assessments. The sensor at the probe's tip provides reliable measurements with minimal displacement. It features a larger probe diameter of 0.99 inches (25 mm) for easier removal and cleaning.
Operating Principles: The water level meter operates with a durable stainless steel probe connected to a tape measure. When the probe enters the water, it completes an electrical circuit, sending a signal back to the reel that activates a light and audible buzzer. The water level is determined by reading the tape at the top of the well casing or borehole.
Materials and Components: This water level meter includes four main components: the probe, steel ruler cable, receiving system, and reel. The probe is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a diameter of 0.99 inches (25 mm) and features built-in waterproof contacts, ensuring durability and waterproof performance for long-term use.
Versatile Applications: This meter offers an accurate method for measuring water levels in various settings, including wells, boreholes, tanks, and water pipes. It is particularly useful for monitoring groundwater levels in hydro power projects and for inspections of dam body infiltration lines. Ideal for both construction use and ongoing safety monitoring of projects.
