Zebedee waved at you and you stepped forward from the shadows. When the other cats saw you, they gasped in amazement.

â€œIs that a cat?â€ one of them said.

â€œIt's more like a monster,â€ said another.

â€œAre you truly a cat, stranger?â€ said the ginger cat.

â€œWell, actually, I'm a human child, and my name is â€¦ my name is â€¦â€ But you still couldn't remember your name.

â€œShow them your teeth,â€ said Zebedee.

So you opened your mouth wide and bared your fangs. The other cats gasped in astonishment.

â€œShow them your claws,â€ said Zebedee.

So you raised one paw and showed them your claws. Some of the cats stepped back nervously.

â€œThat's a cat all right,â€ you heard a voice say.

â€œBut what a cat!â€ said another.

â€œIf this great cat is not worthy to be our leader, I don't know who is,â€ said the ginger cat. â€œAll those in favour, say Miaow.â€

â€œMiaow!â€ â€œMiaow!â€ â€œMiaow!â€ said all the cats together.
