- 8 oz (227 grams) of authentic White Joss Powder (Cinnamomum subavenium) for incense making. Includes instructions and troubleshooting suggestions to help you get your recipes made correctly.
- An excellent choice for making high quality incense cones, extruded sticks and coils.
- White Joss binds powdered woods, herbs and resins together and imparts little of its own scent besides a mild and pleasant woody aroma.
- White Joss is a powerful binder which makes it a great alternative to Makko. It doesn't provide the same combustion assistance as Makko does, though that is not usually required when your recipe is chiefly wood powder. White Joss is less expensive and more readily available than Makko as well.
- White Joss has been used for centuries as a key incense making ingredient.
- Using the recommended ratios, one 8 oz bag will make 1,200 - 1,400 standard sized incense cones (0.6 inches x 1.1 inches). A little goes a long way as this White Joss powder gets very sticky when mixed with water.
