About the Wimberley MonoGimbal Head - MH-100
The Wimberley MonoGimbal Head is the first and only of its kind: It is a monopod specific gimbal head for telephoto lenses. Its gimbal head type design allows you to easily support and manipulate very large lenses for tracking birds and animals. It solves the un-balanced lens flop tendency many experience with traditional tilt-type monopods It also makes carrying your rig more comfortable as the offset nature allows the weight of the lens and camera to rest directly on your back instead of digging into your shoulder through the monopod
The Wimberley MonoGimbal Head offers the same stiffness, capacity, and smooth tilt movement of the Sidekick without any ballhead capacity issues when panning. Lobed "soft-touch" knobs provide a more comfortable grip and perform better when using gloves.
