DOWELL's 3-In-1 Automatic Wire Stripper changes this by doing the stripping for you, with only one hand. To use, simply place your wire between the two machined jaws at the tool's head, select the desired exposed wire length (1/4-inch to 3/4-inch) using the flip-up red gauge stopper, and squeeze. The two jaws clamp down, automatically selecting the right tension to hold the wire without damaging it, and pull insulation away. The result is a perfectly stripped wire. The tool is compatible with 10-24 gauge wires, and includes a micro-adjustment thumb wheel for setting tension and clearance for smaller gauge wires beyond 20 AWG.
